MOTION
MANIA has a program which accommodates dancers from 3 years old to Adult.
We offer classes in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Poms, and Pilates!
PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM
The Pre-Professional Program is designed to develop well-rounded young
dancers. It was created to provide them with an exclusive experience
to study with others who want to make achievement in dance a priority.
The program teaches the rewards of discipline and hard work and increases
self-esteem as students improve and receive accolades for their achievements.
This exciting program also provides many opportunities for experiencing
the joy of performance. Audition is required for admission into the
program. During summer months, dancers may audition by appointment.
There are many opportunities to continue their dance education over
the summer months including day camps, evening classes and the Mid-Atlantic
Summer Dance Intensive. This camp program is a joint venture between
James Madison University's Dance Department and Motion Mania Dance Center.
MMDC Youth Dance Companies for ages 8-18 are part of the Pre-Professional
Program.
Those who wish to study in the Pre-Professional program do not have
to be a member of any of our companies.
